Annie has been teaching Pilates for over 10 years. She came to find her passion for Pilates while studying Natural Sciences and Dance at Loyola Marymount University. Her love and understanding of the body and how it moves helped her to complete her Pilates certification through Body Arts and Sciences International with a specialization in Dance.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from LMU, Annie began teaching private and semi-private lessons in Los Angeles. Her clientele ranged from pre and post natal women, to athletes, to clients with a large and severe range of ailments. During this time, she also completed a Yoga Teacher Training with Michelle Mazur. It was a certification that specialized in Yoga Therapy, giving Annie an even deeper understanding of how to best address her pilates client's needs and ailments.
In 2013, she returned to her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, where her passion for working with pre and post natal women deepened. She completed refresher courses in Anatomy and Mid-wifery, and an additional certificate program for Pilates through Pregnancy. Her pre and post natal clientele tripled, and it became clear that this was the path that brought her the most joy.
Annie loves helping women feel strong, able bodied, and comfortable during their pregnancy - and come back after feeling as good as before. She is known for putting a contemporary twist on classical pilates, making her sessions fluid, fun, and challenging, while also using proper form and breath work. She is currently running her studio in Phoenix, teaching Private and Semi-Private lessons. She also teaches master classes and workshops all over the world.
